What we collect
When you join our email list: your email address, the date and time you signed up, and which page you signed up from.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message.
When you visit the site: like every website, our hosting provider handles basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. It's used to deliver the site and protect it from spam and attacks, not to build a profile of you.
We don't have accounts or passwords, and we never take payment information on this site.
How we use it
- To email you about Slow Water Supply Co.: new collections, launches and the occasional bit of news.
- To answer your questions.
- To keep the site running, secure and free of spam signups.
We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising.
Who helps us
A small number of companies help us run the shop. They only get what they need to do their job:
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores our email list and forwards email sent to our address.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
- When we start sending newsletters, an email service will send them on our behalf. We'll name it here when we pick one.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any cookies, and we don't use tracking pixels or advertising tools. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Messages you send us are kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we have about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- take you off our email list. Every email we send will also have an unsubscribe link.
Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it within 30 days. We won't treat you any differently for asking.
Kids
We make things for families, but this site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
We keep the list private, limit who can see it, and use services with strong security. No system is perfect, but we collect so little that there's very little to lose.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. When we start selling directly on this site, we'll update it before checkout opens. For anything else, write to [email protected].
